Poem by Donna Schmuland
Lost in Old Montreal
We stop by the park,
In an hour we'll embark,
But just down the street,
Lots of places to eat,
Below Simon's in Old Montreal.
Off down the street,
The bus we must meet.
It's this way I'm sure,
Just a few blocks more....
Confused in Old Montreal.
Back down the street,
No others we meet,
Just Parada & Sacs,
lots of clothes on the racks
Can't find our way back,
We're lost in Old Montreal.
Time's moving on,
We've no way to call
Will the bus leave without us
Will we wander forever.....
The streets of Old Montreal.
What should we do?
We haven't a clue
Back down the street
Maybe at Simon's we'll meet
A face familiar with Old Montreal.
Mike's found us.....Hooray!!
He'll show us the way.
Back on the bus, safe and sound.
The lost have been found.
Farewell Streets of Old Montreal.
